8:50 p.m. | 2002-12-22 Winter Solstice. I�ve been waiting several months for this day. Not because I love welcoming Winter � I�d rather have Shirley Temple tap dance on my forehead than welcome Winter � but because it means we�re one step closer to the return of the light, Spring and warmth. And, guess what I did to celebrate this magnificent occasion? I put flannel sheets on my bed! I know. Call me crazy. But there it is. Not much else going on. Did the laundry. Continued mourning. Went grocery shopping. Chose to read instead of cleaning. Oh, and I slept in. Until 1:00pm. Gotta love that. Well, I�m off to continue celebrating. Ciao. your thoughts? seed flower
