Random News.

First up? An update on Bike Boy. He was returned from AnotherState to MyTown. He stands accused of punching up to 23 women pedestrians, mostly in the face, while riding past them on his bike. Hes been successfully identified in ten cases and will be arraigned on several counts of felony battery, bias-related crimes and one count of misdemeanor assault.

Again, I say he has a little anger management issue that needs addressing.

Thursday was Take Your Daughters and Sons To Work Day. At MyWorkPlace, the daughters and sons were treated to breakfast, received their own picture ID, took a tour of MyOtherWorkPlace, and then went out to lunch. For the afternoon, they came back to MyWorkPlace. Some helped out with work, some played and some just ran around.

I think its a good program, but frankly, I was a little envious. Id love to come to work, be fed breakfast, go on a field trip, out to lunch and then play all afternoon. However, they didnt get paid for their time, and I did so I guess it all evens out in the end.

And, the little ones didnt cause any major problems at MyWorkPlace. At the local utility plant, a child a cute one, Im sure threw the switch on the main control panel while touring the place. That switch turned off the plants lighting system and some of the area surrounding the main building. It took about an hour to get everything turned back on.

The childs response? Oops.

The plants response? They wont be going there in the future. That door will be kept locked.
